Oh my. This is some dreamy goodness!

While planning their wedding day, Mary and Jon were inspired by the 1920's charm of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic "The Great Gatsby". Charles Augustin Sainte-Beuvre defines a classic author as someone who has...enriched the human mind, increased its treasure, and caused it to advance a
step; who has discovered some moral and not equivocal truth, or revealed some
eternal passion in that heart where all seemed known and discovered. Yes, yes.
To me, a classic is also a story, a concept, a universal feeling rooted in the collective consciousness...like a melody we immediately identify as familiar, even if it is the first time hearing that particular rendition. There was something so alluring about Mary and Jon's classic wedding day. I felt as if I was reading a well-loved book once again...settling into the sweet, familiar beauty of the words, but truly seeing it anew. This is a love story of graceful, abiding and epic proportions...a love story for all time.

I am in love with the detail shots, especially those black and whites of the decor below the shot of her walking away (which I'm also in love with!). Beautiful work, as always!!
