Could it be? Is it true?? The very first engagement session of 2010?!? Why, yes my loves...it is. Not only is Kristi and Matt's engagement session the first of the year, but their upcoming May wedding will be the very first wedding of 2010. Kristi and Matt are a super sweet couple with lots of charm and lots of love...and I'm so very happy to begin my year with them. I am certain their joy, laughter and loveliness is a sign of very good things to come...for them and for this new year.

The first engagement session of every Fall season always holds a special place in my heart. And I couldn't think of a more perfect way to welcome Fall than with Jane and Mark's sweet, breezy session. Their genuine kindness and quiet love for each other, emitted a warmth that absolutely glowed, despite the crisp morning chill. I felt a certain peace in their presence. I was warmly welcomed into their world and was honored to briefly be a part of it.

Amy is the tiniest little ball of BIG energy! That was the first thing I loved about her...and quickly discovered there was so much more to love about both Amy and Fred! When Amy and I first started excitedly chatting about her and Fred's wedding plans, her support of his journey toward an advanced degree, their absolute love of photography, her adorable sense of style (seriously, adorable), and their laid-back relationship...I knew we were meant to know each other.
On the day of their engagement session, Fred strolled in with the kindest smile and brightest eyes, eager to begin the session and even more eager to make Amy absolutely, undeniably happy. I could immediately see how they perfectly balance each other. Amy's boundless energy takes on a quiet direction in Fred's calm presence, and he delights in seeing her joyfulness. They are so absolutely peaceful together, mellow and content and so perfectly happy in each others company. SIGH. Love...
