When I was small I happened upon the tiniest, most beautiful bird happily skipping across the sidewalk.  I was awed by it's delicate, graceful movements, lightest of feathers and chirping joyfulness.  When I first met Stephanie and Jason at their engagement session, I could easily see they were two beautiful birds happily enjoying this life together.  And just like that tiny skipping bird, their summer wedding day was equally delicate, graceful, light and joyful. 

Every moment of their day sparkled in the most perfect pink, glowing warm and bright - thanks to Stephanie and Jason's design vision, brought to life by Kasey with Bliss Wedding and Event Design.  The entire wedding had a quiet, romantic elegance that felt as fragile and beautiful as love itself.

In Karrie's personal vows to Michael, her loving words pure and steady, she looked into his eyes and said "You have given me the two very best days of my life, the day Payson was born and today."  And it truly was the very best day...for everyone.

As a long time representative for The Knot Karrie has witnessed many a beautiful wedding, so when it came time to plan her own, she knew exactly what was important to her and Michael.  Together they created an intimate. relaxed wedding day at Morgan Farm where they enjoyed their time with family and friends.  Theirs was a love-centered day with heart and simplicity, a day that focused on gourmet, locally grown food (a nod to Michael's career as a chef), eco-friendly details and live bluegrass music from the easygoing Rumpke Mountain Boys.

I feel incredibly blessed, as a both a friend and client of Karrie's, that I could be a witness to their amazing day.  It absolutely fills my heart with joy to think back on their wedding celebration...in my mind, the sun seemed to shine more golden, the laughter sounded a little heartier, the food tasted richer and the love was a tangible thing you could hold up to the light to study it's warm shape and meaning.
